SCHEDULE & ROUTE
Fallon Shuttle is a fixed route service provided by C.A.R.T. All stops on the Shuttle route will be made on an hourly schedule, starting at Wal-Mart; and return to Wal-Mart every hour on the hour, the last stop being at Wal-Mart at 3:00pm. The fixed route is 13 miles round trip, and will take approximately 1 hour. Fallon Shuttle service is a FIXED ROUTE service, and is on a fixed time-table. We ask all riders to adhere to the set time on the schedules. Vehicle used for fixed route will be clearly marked as FALLON SHUTTLE.

TICKETS
Cost of service for general public will be $2.00, which includes two rides. Cost for seniors is a suggested donation of $1.00 for two rides. Ticket books will be on sale by drivers. $10.00 per book for general public, which is good for 10 rides, and $10.00 donation for senior books which are good for 20 rides. Drivers DO NOT carry change, we ask that you use exact change for tickets and donations. Seating is limited to vehicle capacity of 13 people. If the bus should be full, the driver will call the office to have another vehicle dispatched to cover the overflow. Any single ride is limited to a one hour time limit.

SPECIAL NEEDS
The dial-a-ride will still be in service for those people with special needs. We ask that people not be alarmed if they see another C.A.R.T. bus, NOT displaying FALLON SHUTTLE, which does not stop for them. We ask that persons with special needs please call the C.A.R.T. office at 775-428-2988 to make arrangements for rides. If a driver should come to a stop where there is a person with a special need, the driver will call the office to have another vehicle dispatched to assist in transport.

POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Children under the age of 8 years old MUST be accompanied by someone 18 years or older. There will be no charge for an infant who rides and does not utilize a seat. Drivers are to remain on bus at all times, and will NOT be able to assist with any packages. Persons who bring parcels aboard the bus must maintain control of them, and MUST NOT hinder the safety of other passengers.

We're most famous for the Top Gun Fighter Training School at NAS Fallon and our Hearts of Gold Cantaloupes. Our main industry is dairy, but we also do mining, farming and some industry. Population in the county is around 23,000; Fallon is around 8,000; the Naval Air Station is around 1,200. Fallon is the county-seat.
